The day begins early. By the time most guests are finishing breakfast, you’ll be gliding along the Chobe River on a quiet boat cruise, watching elephants wade chest-deep across the channel, hippos yawning in the shallows, and crocodiles warming on the banks. The river brings everything to you — it is Africa at its most unhurried and its most dramatic, often in the same moment.
After a generous riverside buffet lunch, you head out into the savannah on an open-vehicle game drive. Chobe is predator country. Lions, leopards, and wild dogs all hunt these plains, and the afternoon light turns every sighting golden. By the time you cross back into Zambia, you will have experienced two countries, two ecosystems, and more wildlife than most people see in a week.
