Overview

Over 13 days, you will travel through two of Africa’s most celebrated national parks — the wildlife-dense floodplains of South Luangwa and the vast, barely-touched wilderness of Kafue — before arriving in Livingstone to witness Victoria Falls and experience the human heart of Zambia through a cultural encounter with the Tonga people.

This is a journey of genuine contrasts. South Luangwa, known as the ‘Valley of the Leopard’, has one of the highest concentrations of leopards anywhere in Africa. Kafue National Park, at 22,400 square kilometres, is one of the largest parks on the continent — its sheer scale means animals roam freely and sightings feel truly wild. And then there is Victoria Falls: standing at its edge, feeling the spray on your face, hearing a sound so immense the local name for it — Mosi oa Tunya, ‘The Smoke That Thunders’ — makes perfect sense.

Accommodation

You will stay in comfortable, well-located mid-range lodges and hotels throughout, each chosen for their proximity to the parks and quality of service. Accommodation upgrades to premium or luxury lodges are available on request — just ask us when enquiring.
